Every donation given to the Five of Hearts is shared evenly between five amazing Birmingham-based charities to assist them improve the quality of life of over 400,000 local service users.

The Five of Hearts is a fundraising Consortium, its core objective to help Birmingham's workforce meet their desire to give something back to those in the region who need it most. If you support the Five of Hearts, you avoid having to choose one charity above another and instead share our objective to celebrate collaborate action, making a stronger, longer lasting impact.

So how can you join others across our city and get involved? Very simply, by making a Payroll Giving donation, also called Give As You Earn.

Payroll Giving is one of the simplest but highly effective ways to support these charities, it doesn't ask for your time or energy, you simply fill out one form and send it to your HR department who will deduct the donation from your salary each month as you've instructed.

And why make a donation via your salary? Because it means the tax collected on your donation can be immediately sent along with your donation to your charity, and the taxman does not take his share.

To start donating to the Five of Hearts, check if your employer has a Payroll Giving Scheme in place. Once they have, fill out the Payroll Giving Form and pass it to your payroll department. If they do not have a Scheme, request your employer looks here and ask them to give us a call and we can take them through the very simple set-up process.
